The occupiers struck a settlement in Donetsk region with a cluster munition: a teenager was killed
On November 20, Russian occupiers took the life of a child during another shelling of the Mykolaiv community in Donetsk region. As a result of this shelling, two civilians were also injured.
The information about the child’s death in Pershomaisk was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin. He emphasized that it is dangerous to remain a civilian in Donetsk region and evacuation is necessary.
"The enemy shelled the village with a cluster munition from a Tornado multiple rocket launcher. An 11-year-old boy was killed. Two more people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl," the official said.
The regional prosecutor’s office, which initiated a pre-trial investigation in the criminal case on the fact of a war crime due to this shelling, provided details.
It is specified that the strike occurred at 3:40 PM. The cluster munitions hit residential buildings. The 11-year-old boy died in the yard of his own house. His 12-year-old sister and 63-year-old grandfather were injured. They sustained blast injuries, head, chest, arm, and leg wounds.
As a result of the enemy attack, several residential buildings and civilian vehicles in the settlement were also damaged.
