The border guards detained a group of evaders: $10,000 per boat

This was reported by the  State Border Guard Service.

"Four violators attempted to swim across the full-flowing Tisza, paying 10 thousand dollars each to the organizer for a ’safe route’," the report says.

However, according to the SBGS, their plans were thwarted by the border guards.

"All were detained near the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. Now they face administrative protocols and responsibility according to the law," the agency noted.
