A shooting occurred at a capital hotel: there are injured and dead

A shooting with casualties occurred at a hotel in Kyiv, reports the police.

"The incident happened today around 1:00 AM. In the hotel, a conflict arose between two groups of people, which escalated into a fight. During the altercation, one of the participants pulled out a weapon and fired several shots at the opponents.

A 27-year-old man died at the scene from the injuries received, and the deceased’s friend and the hotel’s security guard were also injured. The latter are in satisfactory condition and have been hospitalized.

Police officers have detained one of the participants of the fight, and the shooter is being sought," the capital’s police department reported.
