The Armed Forces of Ukraine are implementing a new system for attracting volunteers
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, instructed combat unit commanders to create regular units for the recruitment of new recruits. This decision aims to improve the process of attracting volunteers to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since October 1, legislative changes have allowed combat unit commanders to directly recruit volunteers into their units, bypassing territorial recruitment centers. This approach reduces the time spent on procedures and simplifies the process for potential servicemen.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine already have functioning recruiting centers that are gradually being improved and expanded. New recruitment units in each brigade will become an important step in ensuring the prompt replenishment of volunteers and strengthening the country’s defence capabilities.
Recall that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Ukrainian troops continue their offensive operation in the Kursk region of Russia. Since the beginning of the current day, in this direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have captured about 100 servicemen of the Russian army.
Syrskyi also noted that the Defence Forces of Ukraine have advanced another 1-2 kilometers in certain directions in the Kursk region.
