Intercepts show that the occupying forces are expecting bad weather, which will complicate the work of UAV operators - detecting the enemy from the air and subsequently striking them.

This was reported by Yehor Firsov, a senior sergeant of the UAV strike company of the 109th Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of "Espreso".

"According to the intercepts, the enemy is expecting unfavorable weather conditions: rain, fog, wind, when our drones, UAVs, do not operate well. In this way, they often use infantry groups of 4 to 8 people who move quickly at 4 in the morning in bad weather - it is still unclear how to deal with this. They use different types of drones, more oriented towards infantry, capable of hovering, working with different levels of noise, and equipped with fragmentation munitions instead of explosive or cumulative ones, as on tanks. Against infantry, fragmentation should be used," explained Firsov.

He added that the Russians have concentrated all their forces in Kurakhove. Closer to the New Year, the hardest times are expected for Pokrovsk.

"We are trying to find this approach and disrupt the enemy’s attacks. In our sector, we are more on the Toretsk direction, relatively calm, although I cannot say that everything is calm - it’s not. In our sector, it’s calmer than, for example, in Kurakhove, because there the enemy has now concentrated all forces to align the line closer to Pokrovsk and then start the offensive on the city, so closer to the New Year will be the most difficult times directly for Pokrovsk," concluded the military officer.
