In Mykolaiv, due to emergency power outages, transportation and schools are not functioning

In Mykolaiv, due to the introduction of emergency power outages, public transport is not functioning. Also, today educational institutions are closed.

This was reported by the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, in Telegram.

"Due to the introduction of emergency power outages, there will be no trolleybuses and trams operating in Mykolaiv. Trolleybuses with an autonomous run of up to 20 kilometers (PTS) will operate on city routes until the batteries are discharged (from the Namyv and Pivnichnyi districts to the Pushkinske ring)," he noted.

Senkevych added that the municipal transport company "Mykolaivpastrans" has deployed additional bus No. 91 to continue the route.

"Buses will run to the Namyv microdistrict to the residential complex ’Riviera’ and back to Balabanivka.  Transport tracking apps are also not working," the mayor reported.

He also noted that educational institutions in Mykolaiv are not operating today.
