Umyerov and Austin discussed the upcoming "Ramstein"

On Sunday, December 8, the heads of the defence departments of the USA and Ukraine, Lloyd Austin and Rustem Umyerov, held a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the planning of the upcoming "Ramstein".

This was reported with reference to the Pentagon website.

According to Major General Pat Ryder, the ministers discussed the latest developments on the battlefield and the U.S. support for Ukraine’s security.

"Secretary Austin informed Minister Umyerov about U.S. security assistance aimed at providing Ukraine with capabilities necessary to counter Russian aggression," Ryder said.

Additionally, representatives of the states discussed the planning of the next meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group and further active support for our country from international partners.

Furthermore, the heads of the defence departments promised to maintain close contact.
