In the Kharkiv region, border guards repelled an attempt by a sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) to enter

Ukrainian border guards managed to stop an attempt by a sabotage and reconnaissance group to infiltrate the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the representative of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko during a telethon.

"Currently, the activity of Russian saboteurs is not as intense as before. However, the threat still exists, particularly in the Sumy region, where most cases have been recorded. There is also a threat to the Chernihiv region and Kharkiv region. It was in this region that border guards recently stopped an attempt by a sabotage and reconnaissance group to infiltrate, upon which an attack was carried out, and the enemy retreated beyond the state border line," the spokesperson noted.

As Demchenko noted, there have been no border breaches from the Russian side in the Sumy region or other sections.
