Ukrainian defenders are holding the line and repelling a significant number of assaults. 

Russian occupiers are completely destroying the city of Toretsk, but their progress is very slow. This was reported on the air of the "Kyiv24" TV channel by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group of troops "Luhansk," Anastasiya Bobovnykova.

"Urban battles continue in the Toretsk direction. This is an extremely difficult type of combat. Here, the enemy conducted 11 assault operations. The peculiarity is that the enemy uses artillery, completely destroying the city of Toretsk. They use aviation and employ guided aerial bombs (GAB). Practically nothing is left of the city, as with other settlements in this direction," Bobovnykova stated.

She reported that Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the line and repel a significant number of assaults. 

"We are holding with dignity. We do not allow the enemy to advance. On none of the directions has the enemy managed to advance for a long time. Especially near Toretsk... there the enemy is losing a huge amount of personnel and equipment but advancing extremely slowly. The cost of their advance is incredible. It is a big meat grinder for the Russians," she emphasized.
