The SSU has cordoned off the government quarter in Kyiv and is checking citizens

The SSU claims it is conducting "planned counterintelligence measures" in the government district of Kyiv.

"The goal is to check the counter-sabotage protection of state facilities, as well as to enhance the security of the capital’s residents and individuals under state protection," the statement says.

The law enforcement officers are searching for "objects prohibited for circulation" in offices, high-rise buildings, cafes, and other premises, checking citizens, and inspecting vehicles.
