Ukraine received 150 million euros in grant funds from the European Union

The European Union has transferred the second tranche of grant aid to Ukraine in the amount of 150 million euros for rapid reconstruction.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on Wednesday, December 25.

The funds will be directed to free meals for primary school students (65 million euros), restoration of port infrastructure (50 million euros), support for the agricultural sector (20 million euros), and restoration of critical infrastructure (15 million euros).

This is the second tranche according to the agreement between Ukraine and the EU on financing the "Support for Ukraine’s Rapid Recovery" program. The total volume of the program is 300 million euros.
