Zelenskyy: Almost a third of the battles and half of the enemy’s GABs are concentrated on the Pokrovsk direction
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, during which he received a report on the situation at the front. Almost a third of the battles and 50% of the enemy’s use of guided aerial bombs (GABs) are concentrated in Pokrovsk.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a briefing.
"Pokrovsk — the enemy has had no success in recent days, 26-30% of all combat actions at the front are taking place in Pokrovsk. Moreover, 50% of all uses of GABs are directed at Pokrovsk. You understand how difficult it is for our forces," — Zelenskyy said.
According to the President, there are currently between 260 and 300 Russian military personnel in Pokrovsk, including the 425th Separate Assault Regiment.
The head of state expressed gratitude to the 35th and 38th Brigades, which are carrying out tasks in this direction, as well as to the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade, and the 32nd and 155th Brigades.
During the Headquarters meeting, the situation in Kupyansk was discussed, where about 60 occupiers remain. The dates for clearing the area have been determined, but they will not be disclosed.
On the Lyman direction, the situation is stabilizing; on the Kramatorsk direction — there are no changes. Battles continue in Kostyantynivka, and the situation there also remains unchanged for now. An operation is ongoing in Dobropillya.
"The Commander-in-Chief said that they have cleared another 2-3 km, but Russia understands that it has completely lost the initiative there, and we understand that it is preparing a revanche. It is clear that they are accumulating troops at interception points, and we can see this from all the signs," — Zelenskyy said.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are engaged in battles against the occupiers in 6 settlements.
