The invaders are amassing forces for assaults near Kurakhove, - military

Russian occupiers are concentrating forces for attacks in the Kurakhove direction. The invaders have started to use cloaks at night that shield them from thermal imagers more frequently.

This is reported with reference to the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, on a television marathon.

"They infiltrate in small groups and try to take positions behind buildings and bypass urban areas on the outskirts. It’s important to understand that if they are advancing in such small groups, there are quite a few of them in total," Trehubov noted.

According to him, the Russians aim to accumulate forces to improve their tactical position. Simultaneously, enemy artillery tries to attack Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in Kurakhove, but mostly destroys empty buildings, as Ukrainian soldiers are aware of the occupiers’ plans.

The spokesperson added that a total of 31 combat encounters were recorded in the Kurakhove direction over the past day. The enemy is attempting to infiltrate the combat formations of Ukrainian forces in the urban areas of Kurakhove, and in the areas of Daleke, Dachne, and Uspenivka.
