In the Kharkiv region, 39 searches were conducted among the employees of the TRC and the MMC

This was reported by the head of the Investigation Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov.

The investigation established that the participants in the scheme had been knowingly entering false information into military registration documents for a long time, declaring those who had no legal grounds for it as "unfit" or "limited fit" for service.

Moreover, as Bolvinov reported, the organizers of the scheme helped men illegally cross the state border for money and engaged in salary fraud.

According to him, these payments were received by individuals who did not actually serve. He also added that for bribes, the perpetrators "resolved issues" regarding the mobilization of vehicles prepared for use on the front line.

Bolvinov reported that during the searches, money, property, military registration, and medical documents were seized from the suspects. The seized property has been arrested. The examination of the documentation and the questioning of the scheme participants are ongoing.

He noted that law enforcement pays special attention to the origins of the funds owned by the suspects. Each financial transaction of the suspects is being checked to determine the legality of its sources.

It is known that the investigation is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the Defence Sphere of the Eastern Region with the assistance of the Strategic Investigations Department of the region.
