Partisan collected information about the FSB military airfield in the Republic of Mari El

The Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar guerrilla movement "ATESH" conducted reconnaissance of the "Danilovo" military airfield of the Russian FSB in the Republic of Mari El in the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation. It was discovered that the airfield hosts Mi-8 and Ka-226 helicopters and military transport aircraft An-72, An-26, and Il-76, which are used for transporting cargo and personnel.

This was reported on December 30 in the Telegram channel "ATESH". Photos of the reconnaissance results were also published.

Previously, the 681st Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Air Defence Forces was based at the Danilovo airfield, located near the city of Yoshkar-Ola.

Currently, a Russian FSB aviation group is stationed there.

During the reconnaissance, it was found that Danilovo hosts multi-purpose Mi-8 and Ka-226 helicopters, as well as military transport aircraft An-72, An-26, and Il-76.

This equipment is used for transporting cargo and personnel.

Enhanced security and secrecy measures are in place at the Russian Armed Forces military facility.

ATESH noted that due to a lack of qualified personnel, Russian special services "no longer see what is happening right under their noses," while their operatives successfully complete tasks and remain undetected.
