The Defence Forces struck the "Yartsevskaya" oil depot in the Smolensk region

The Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with the Unmanned Systems Forces and other parts of the Defence Forces, struck the "Yartsevskaya" oil depot in the Smolensk region, Russia.

This was reported by the  General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the oil depot was attacked on the night of Tuesday, December 31. As a result of the attack, powerful explosions and a fire were recorded at the facility, with heavy smoke observed.

According to available information, tanks with petroleum products caught fire. It is reported that the base was used, in particular, to supply the Russian occupation army.

Additional information on the results of combat actions is being clarified.
