Russia attacked Ukraine with "Shaheds": 14 UAVs destroyed

On Saturday, January 4, Russia attacked Ukraine using 30 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and decoy drones. As of 8:00 PM, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 14 enemy UAVs.

Another 16 decoy drones were lost without consequences for civilian objects. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thus, on Saturday, starting at 11:00, the Russian Federation carried out another large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine.

This time, the occupiers used 30 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and various models of decoy drones. The attack was directed from the northeast vector.

Throughout the day, Ukrainian air defence forces acted effectively against enemy targets, resulting in the destruction of 14 enemy drones.

In addition, 16 decoy drones intended to mislead air defence systems were lost without negative consequences for Ukrainian infrastructure.
