The employees of the gas industry will receive exemption from mobilization, - Cabinet of Ministers

Employees of the gas industry will be able to receive a deferment from mobilization.

This was initially reported by Prime Minister Shmyhal in the Rada, and soon the Cabinet adopted a resolution that simplifies the procedure for their reservation.

A few days ago, Deputy Honcharenko stated that the government decided not to reserve gas industry employees, which he asked the Prime Minister about today.

"Our gas industry employees are reserved. Today the government will make the appropriate decision," Shmyhal replied.

Repair teams of regional gas companies were promised a deferment beyond the norm.

According to the Ministry of Economy, gas distribution system operators will be able to reserve employees through a simplified procedure.

"Operators no longer need to confirm that the monthly salary of an employee exceeds 2.5 minimum salaries for the last calendar quarter. Operators have been given the opportunity to choose the criterion based on the average accrued salary of employees – not less than the average in the region for the IV quarter of 2021, as one of the three mandatory criteria," the government reports.
