Dubinskyi was added to the register of corrupt officials - based on materials from the SBI

The Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, who was exposed by the State Bureau of Investigation for a corrupt act, was entered into the Unified State Register of Persons Who Committed Corruption or Related Offenses.

According to media reports, the matter concerns Oleksandr Dubinskyi. The deputy, using his powers, tried to influence the investigation in a criminal case in which he is a figure.

This became known from a statement by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).

Law enforcement does not specify the name of the deputy, but according to media reports, it concerns Oleksandr Dubinskyi.

«In March 2024, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv found the current Member of Parliament guilty of committing an administrative offense related to corruption. In December 2024, the Court of Appeal upheld this verdict», — reported the SBI.

According to the investigation materials, the Bureau found that in August and October 2023, the elected official sent parliamentary inquiries to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the SBI, raising issues of his private interest.

«In his inquiries, he was interested in the consideration of granting him permission to travel abroad, which is the subject of the criminal case in which the deputy is a figure. He also tried to exert pressure on the investigation, demanding to initiate checks on the leadership of law enforcement agencies investigating criminal proceedings in which the deputy is a suspect», — the message stated.

The SBI clarified that through such actions, the parliamentarian violated the requirements of the Law of Ukraine «On Prevention of Corruption», which provides for administrative liability.

After the decision came into legal force, the data regarding the deputy was entered into the Unified State Register of Persons Who Committed Corruption or Related Offenses.
