On Tuesday morning, January 21, the Russian Federation attacked the railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The chairman of the board of "Ukrzaliznytsia," Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, reported three injured railway workers.

According to him, the strike hit the Prydniprovska railway.

Pertsovskyi noted that the employees "acted clearly." After the air raid alert was announced, they secured the train, gathered the passengers, and took shelter in the depot.

"We will restore the train, the main thing is that lives are saved! I will meet with colleagues personally in the coming days to commend their clarity!" wrote the head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Facebook.

He also showed how the damaged carriage looks from the inside.

At 8:06, the company reported that the railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region was under enemy attack. At that time, it was known about two injured railway workers.

"One was hospitalized, the other was given medical assistance on the spot. Buildings and rolling stock have also been damaged," stated the "Ukrzaliznytsia" message.
