Zelenskyy commented on Trump’s statement about Putin

"I believe it is important that there is a signal of a determined person here. It’s like a shot. There is no warning shot in the air. He speaks directly and without prevarication. His words show a serious intention to end the war. We do not yet know how this will be implemented and what the details will be," the president said about Trump’s statements.

According to him, the American president himself still does not know how Russia’s war against Ukraine will end, as Putin does not seek peace.

"Trump is aware of these challenges and simply states that the conflict must be ended, otherwise it will get worse. His words are addressed to the Russian side. It seems to me, this is a kind of strategy that I like today," Zelenskyy added.
