The Russian Federation launched a hundred drones at Ukraine overnight: Air Defence Forces shot down 65 UAVs

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The drones were launched from the directions of the Russian cities of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and the temporarily occupied Crimean Chauda.

The following were involved in repelling the attack:

• aviation;
• anti-aircraft missile forces;
• electronic warfare units;
• mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defence Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:30:

• the downing of 65 strike drones has been confirmed within the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Odesa, and several other regions;
• 28 decoy UAVs were lost in location without negative consequences. Two of them flew in the direction of Russia and Belarus.
• one drone remains in Ukrainian airspace.

As a result of the drone attack, there is damage to private enterprise buildings, infrastructure objects, multi-apartment and private houses, as well as vehicles.

Currently, special services are eliminating the consequences of the attack in several regions.
