Poltava Regional Council deputy ordered the murder of a businessman

The SSU detained a deputy of the Poltava Regional Council, who is suspected of ordering the murder of the owner of a local agricultural company with the aim of seizing his business.

The name is not mentioned, but local media report that it concerns Oleh Dyadyk ("For the Future").

According to the investigation’s version, the deputy offered his driver $20,000 to strangle the entrepreneur with a rope on the premises of an abandoned pumping station, where the deputy invited him under the pretext of discussing work matters. Then, it was planned to stage a suicide.

After this, the deputy planned to forge documents on the corporate rights of the agricultural company, naming himself as the trusted person.

The SSU arrested the deputy and the driver at the moment when they were taking the businessman to the site of the "business" meeting.
