According to Zelenskyy, a rescue operation is currently underway in the city. It is already known that this strike destroyed part of the city council building.

As of now, it is known that there are casualties – 20 people are injured. Unfortunately, five people have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones.

"This brutality cannot be ignored. It is necessary to exert pressure on Russia using as much force as possible - the force of arms, the force of sanctions, the force of diplomacy - to stop the terror and protect lives," Zelenskyy wrote.
