In Ukraine, there are plans to attract more young people to the army. It involves a special one-year contract for individuals aged 18 to 24.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine on Friday, January 7, in an interview with Reuters.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted – this is not a mobilization.

According to the president, the contract for young people is being developed by experienced combat brigades in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The option will be available for those willing to join.

"There is a special contract, there will be many advantages... Also, very high financial support. Details will be published soon," he said.
