The President has appointed new Ukrainian ambassadors to Moldova and Uruguay
On Friday, February 7, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, appointed new ambassadors to Moldova and the Republic of Uruguay. Changes were also made to the composition of the NSDC.
This is reported with reference to the official website of the President of Ukraine.
In particular, according to Zelenskyy’s decree, Paun Rogovey was appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova.
Yuriy Klymenko was appointed to the corresponding position in the Republic of Uruguay. At the same time, he remains and will continue to serve as the ambassador of Ukraine to Argentina.
In addition, the website of the Ukrainian president published a decree on the inclusion of the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Liashko, in the composition of the NSDC.
"To partially amend Article 1 of the decree of the President of Ukraine dated March 29, 2024, No. 193/2024... to include Viktor Lyashko - the Minister of Health of Ukraine - in the personal composition of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine. This decree comes into force on the day of its publication," the document states.
