Law enforcement officers are conducting searches in the Department of Transport Infrastructure and "Kyivavtodor"

Today, February 11, searches are being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv region, and the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office in the premises of the Department of Transport Infrastructure and the municipal corporation «Kyivavtodor». The searches are conducted on the basis of a decision by the investigating judge of the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv as part of a criminal investigation regarding the procurement of equipment by CC «Kyivavtodor».

This became known from a report by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).

“The investigated case concerns the procurement of equipment for the needs of the road economy. In particular, the purchase of 26 multifunctional machines equipped for winter road maintenance and one garbage truck. They were purchased through the official public procurement procedure,” the report states.

It is reported that representatives of the KCSA are providing all necessary documents and hope for the objectivity and impartiality of the investigation.

This week, NABU and SAPO conducted an operation called «Clean City» regarding fraud in the capital’s land sector. Among the suspects, as reported, are: a former Kyiv City Council (KCC) deputy, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration (hereinafter – KCSA); the head and member of the permanent commission of the KCC on architecture, urban planning, and land relations, current KCC deputies; the first deputy and deputy director of municipal enterprises. A total of 7 people were detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. In total, 10 individuals were notified of suspicion.
