In Ukraine, the nationalization of the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant of the fugitive Zhevaho is being prepared

The authorities are preparing for the nationalization of the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant, which belongs to businessman Kostyantyn Zhevaho.

Earlier, the NSDC imposed sanctions against him.

The State Bureau of Investigations reported that, together with the Ministry of Justice, it is preparing an appeal to the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding the transfer to state ownership of 49.5% of the enterprise’s share capital, 541 real estate objects, 172 land plots under long-term lease, 2.3 thousand railway cars, and over 53 km of access tracks.

The SBI reminded that back in September 2023, a case was submitted to the court regarding corruption by the top management of the plant in the amount of 370 million UAH, and the assets of the enterprise are under arrest.

The Poltava Mining and Processing Plant is one of the largest mining enterprises in Ukraine in the iron ore industry.
