«The UN has become a platform for tyrants and a place for attacks on America and its allies. We must stop paying for this. As President Trump makes changes to our foreign policy by putting America’s interests first, we must withdraw from this sham organization and focus on real alliances that ensure the security and prosperity of our country,» said one of the initiators, Senator Mike Lee.

«The UN uses American taxpayer dollars while often undermining our interests, attacking our allies, and supporting our adversaries. What has the United Nations achieved? Despite the money and attention spent, this corrupt globalist organization has for decades failed to prevent wars, genocides, human rights abuses, and even pandemics,» said Representative Chip Roy.

In 2022, the US allocated over 18 billion dollars to the UN, which accounts for approximately one-third of the organization’s entire budget.
