The United States will propose a resolution on Ukraine at the UN to establish a path to peace

The United States will present a resolution at the UN, which, as stated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, "charts a path to peace" in Ukraine.

The American official noted that the resolution holds historical significance and urged all member states to support it. However, he did not disclose the document’s details.

According to Reuters, the resolution will consist of three paragraphs expressing regret over the victims of the "Russian-Ukrainian conflict" and reaffirming the UN’s commitment to the principles of maintaining international peace and security, as well as the peaceful resolution of disputes.

The peculiarity of this year is that the United States, contrary to tradition, will not be co-authors of the resolution that condemns Russia and supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
