In Ukraine, prices for more than 100 types of medicines will be reduced once again

Pharmaceutical companies will start lowering the wholesale prices from March. The cost of medicines, depending on their type, may decrease by 10 to 50%.

In the near future, Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers will reduce the prices of a range of medicines. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The list includes the following types of medicines:

• pain relievers,
• sorbents,
• antacids (for symptomatic treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal diseases),
• human immunoglobulins,
• antibiotics,
• anesthetics,
• antiepileptic drugs,
• cough and antipyretic remedies,
• drugs for regulating blood pressure, vitamins, and trace elements.

More than 70 items of medicines from the list are included in the National List of Medicines

More than 70 items from the list are included in the National List of Medicines, and another 35 prescription drugs can only be purchased and used after obtaining a prescription from a doctor.
