Former "Khortytsia" commander Hnatov was appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Defence Minister Umyerov appointed former "Khortytsia" commander Andriy Hnatov as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The previous day, Zelenskyy dismissed Hnatov from the position of Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that in his new role, he will be responsible for "force generation and cooperation with partners."

Hnatov was transferred from the front to the rear after the loss of Velyka Novosilka.
