Western specialists who were involved in obtaining satellite reconnaissance data and transmitting it to the Ukrainian military have also left Kyiv.
This is reported by Time, citing sources in the General Staff.
According to the publication, the cessation of receiving satellite data from the United States has allowed Russia to achieve successes in the Kursk region, putting Ukrainian troops on the brink of encirclement (this is currently reported by many Western media).
During this advance, "hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers were killed," Kyiv representatives told the magazine.
In addition, the publication confirmed the cessation of satellite image transmission to Ukraine by the private company Maxar. "The U.S. government has decided to temporarily suspend Ukrainian accounts" in this system, the magazine was told by the company.
The Washington Post also confirms this information. According to its data, the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency confirmed that Ukraine’s commercial access to satellite images was disabled.
