Yermak: The US opposes a frozen conflict between Ukraine and Russia

This was stated by the Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak, as reported with reference to the broadcast of the telethon.

"We have stated very clearly that we will never agree to a frozen conflict. We are unequivocally against it, and here our positions fully coincide with those of our American partners. They are also against a frozen conflict, they are also against a so-called ’Minsk-3’ or any agreements like the Budapest Memorandum," Yermak emphasized.

He noted that the meeting between Ukraine and the United States in Saudi Arabia was very successful. However, this is only the beginning. Ukraine still has a lot of work to do.

According to Yermak, Ukraine constantly informs its European partners about the developments in the context of the peace process. In particular, Kyiv and Washington agreed that European representatives will participate in the peace process.
