He noted that this incident was aimed at pushing Ukraine towards making "right decisions" and achieving a peace agreement.

The head of the American state, Donald Trump, stated this during a conversation with journalists on March 17.

Trump also commented on the U.S. decision to halt the supply of weapons and intelligence to Ukraine, stating that it did not have negative consequences for the Ukrainian army in Russia’s Kursk region. He emphasized that his intervention was driven by humanitarian considerations, as many people are dying in the conflict.
