An incident occurred in Odesa involving the escape of a conscript from a bus belonging to the territorial recruitment and social support center (TRC). According to local public sources, the man was pulled through a window during a departure to a training unit, after which he escaped.

The TRC officially commented on the situation, stating that a group of about 10 individuals blocked the bus and physically prevented the military personnel from performing their duties. One of the conscripts, in collusion with civilians, attempted to leave the transport through an open door, after which he was blocked by unknown individuals.

“Compliance with military registration and mobilization rules is the duty of every citizen. Interference in the activities of officials and obstructing them from performing their duties is an offense and entails legal consequences,” the TRC stated.

The agency also refuted information about the use of force by the military. Analysis of video footage showed that there were no illegal actions or measures of physical coercion against civilians. At the same time, it was noted that the situation was accompanied by active physical resistance from unknown individuals.

The circumstances of the event are currently under investigation.
