Fugitive MP Dmytruk spoke in Moscow and thanked Azarov for his "position on Ukraine"
Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk, who fled Ukraine and was declared internationally wanted, participated in a patriotic conference in Russia. He expressed gratitude to the fugitive former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov for his "important and consistent position" regarding Ukraine.
A fragment of Dmytruk’s speech appeared on social media.
"Thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to speak. Thanks to Mykola [Azarov] for his important and consistent position regarding Ukraine and peaceful resolution," he began his speech.
He then quoted one of the religious publications on the topic of ending the war in Ukraine. He called this the foremost issue for Ukraine, Russia, and almost all countries.
"There will be no peace if it is not granted from above. We will conduct a single liturgy in Kyiv, Moscow, and Minsk and other capitals of Orthodox Rus or we will endlessly wash in each other’s blood for the amusement of outsiders," Dmytruk said.
After this, the politician read a fragment from the Gospel of Matthew about repentance and adherence to the commandments of God.
According to publications in Russian media, on March 27, Dmytruk spoke at the meeting of the "People’s Unity Club". This organization supports "traditional Russian spiritual and moral values" as well as promotes the strengthening of peace, friendship, and harmony among nations. The event took place at the "President Hotel" in Moscow.
Additionally, the "People’s Unity Club" popularizes the ideas of the "Russian world" and historical truth.
