In the Kherson region, Ukrposhta employee Yehor Istranov was killed after a Russian drone attack

21-year-old Yehor Istranov, an employee of Ukrposhta in Kherson region, died on March 29 after being seriously injured on February 19 as a result of an attack by a Russian drone in the village of Stanislav.

The man was delivering pensions, parcels, and humanitarian aid when his vehicle was fired upon. Due to the drone activity, the evacuation was delayed until the evening. Yehor sustained serious shrapnel injuries, including to his head, and fell into a coma on February 25.

Doctors fought for his life for over a month, but on March 29, he passed away. The death was confirmed by the General Director of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyanskyi.
