Russians claim the capture of Basivka in the Sumy region: the Armed Forces of Ukraine deny

Russian invaders claimed to have captured the village of Basivka in the Yunakivka community of the Sumy region, located near the border with the Kursk region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine assert that the Russians do not control this village.

This was reported on April 7 in the Telegram channel "Officer+" by a Ukrainian Armed Forces lieutenant with the call sign "Alex".

"The bastards claim to have captured the village of Basivka in the Sumy region. The situation in this direction is difficult; the enemy is trying to capture the village in order to bypass and push out our troops from the Kursk area, but the guys are holding the defence," he wrote.
