Drone attack in Zhytomyr region: the number of injured increased to six, one person died

This was reported in a television broadcast by the head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Bunechko.

«Around 7:00 PM (April 10, – ed.), the enemy’s drone hit a five-story building in the locality of Ozerne, Novohuyvynska territorial community. One person was killed. This happened because the person did not reach the shelter by 150 meters. The fire destroyed five apartments and a grocery store. Six people were injured,» Bunechko noted.

According to him, among the injured is a child born in 2011. After examination in the regional children’s hospital, the child was transferred to "Okhmatdyt". The child has been diagnosed with multiple shrapnel wounds, a penetrating eye injury, and a concussion. Doctors assess the child’s condition as moderate.

Bunechko added that as a result of the attack, 100 apartments and a lyceum were damaged. About 50 people sought plastic sheets to cover windows.
