In Mykolaiv region, roads are covered with snow: traffic movement is complicated

In the Mykolaiv region, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions has led to snowdrifts, making it almost impossible to drive on certain sections of roads.

This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, on his Telegram channel.

«The snow is coming down heavily. Not all roads are passable. Utility workers and rescuers are working in intensified mode», — he noted.

According to Kim, the most difficult situation is observed in the northern and central areas of the region. There, the snowfall is accompanied by strong winds, creating drifts. Dozens of snow-clearing machines have been deployed, and State Emergency Service units are on standby.

Residents of the region are urged not to leave their settlements without urgent need, to follow updates on the road situation, and to exercise caution on the roads.
