OTU "Luhansk": The enemy is actively attempting to storm the central part of Toretsk

In the past 24 hours, there have been 34 combat engagements in the area of operations of OTU "Luhansk," most of them in the Toretsk direction. The occupiers also attempted two assault actions in the direction of the city of Chasiv Yar and two in the Siversk direction.

This was reported by the spokesperson of OTU "Luhansk," Dmytro Zaporozhets, in a broadcast on "Suspilne".

"The enemy is actively trying to assault the central part of Toretsk and is also conducting active assault actions in the direction of the settlements of Dachne and Krymske using motor vehicles," Zaporozhets noted.

According to him, 29 units of motor vehicles were destroyed in the past day, mostly in the northern part of the Toretsk direction. The enemy’s tactic is as follows: groups of 3-5 motorcycles move, with one motorcycle in the middle equipped with electronic warfare to cover against our drones.

"Furthermore, the enemy is conducting trainings on motorcycles in the rear, with distinctions such as assault motorcyclist, mine-layer motorcyclist, and evacuation motorcyclist. The enemy considers this a panacea during offensive operations. The main goal of such units is to advance through fields and capture small settlements to establish positions and restrain the pressure of the Ukrainian Defence Forces," Zaporozhets explained.

The spokesperson noted that there is no mass movement or deployment of new Russian units on this front section.

Zaporozhets mentioned that the Russians continue to actively use guided aerial bombs, especially towards Kostyantynivka, but recently "Shaheds" have been added. Yesterday, the enemy attacked the city of Sloviansk with them during the day.
