The armed forces of the Russian Federation have reached the first line in the direction of Kostyantynivka

The enemy has reached the first line in the direction of Kostyantynivka from the Toretsko-Myrnohrad section of the front.

This was reported by military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov on April 19.

It concerns the Kalynove-Tarasivka line, which the enemy has almost breached.

"Beyond this, there are ravines, gullies, and open terrain up to the Oleksandro-Kalynove - Stepanivka line, where maneuvering and attacking with infantry-motorcycle groups is possible. From the side of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, the enemy has not yet reached the first defensive lines of Kostyantynivka," Miroshnykov noted.

He also added that this will not be an easy task for the Russians, as Kostyantynivka is one of the key defence nodes on the entire front, "standing alongside Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, Izyum, Lyman, Siversk, and Slovyansk."
