The assistant of MP Kostyukh was caught smuggling electronic cigarettes from Poland

The company owned by Ivan Cheypesh, assistant to Zakarpattia MP Anatoliy Kostyukh, was exposed for smuggling electronic cigarettes from Poland. The Security Service of Ukraine uncovered the scheme of concealed importation of goods through customs control, arresting a shipment worth over $200,000.

Cheypesh, a former deputy of the Zakarpattia Regional Council and assistant to Kostyukh on a voluntary basis, owns the company LLC «Tysa-Energy Group», which was receiving the smuggled goods. The court has seized two batches of electronic cigarettes.

MP Anatoliy Kostyukh, who recently drew attention for purchasing a crossover for 2.06 million hryvnias, previously leased a car from Cheypesh’s company.
