The Russian army is attempting to stabilize the front line in the Toretsk direction, - military

This was stated in a TV broadcast by the spokesperson for the Operational Tactical Group "Luhansk," Dmytro Zaporozhets.

"Currently, these attempts are not succeeding, especially since strong units are deployed in the Toretsk direction, preventing the enemy from implementing their plan. But the main goal is to level the front, most likely along the Myrnohrad - Kostyantynivka highway, to create a continuous frontline, thus improving the opponent’s logistics and coordination between the units. In other words, they will have a fully established military component of this process," Zaporozhets explained.

According to him, the occupiers are now actively conducting airstrikes in the direction of the settlement of Sukha Balka to destroy Defence Forces positions, disrupt logistics, and countermeasures taken to restrain the enemy.

"In this direction (Toretsk direction, - ed.), the highest activity is maintained precisely in the central part of the city, with the use of motorized equipment conducting assaults in the direction of the settlements of Dachne and Dilyivka," Zaporozhets added.

The spokesperson reported that in the past day, there were 24 enemy assault actions recorded in the Toretsk direction, which is an average number for almost the second month now.

"More than 20 assaults daily in the Toretsk direction... Also, the enemy conducted 33 airstrikes in the operational zone (Operational Tactical Group "Luhansk", - ed.) yesterday, using 47 guided aerial bombs. Yesterday, the entire operational zone trembled until noon, if not a little longer, from the use of this type of weaponry by the enemy," he emphasized.
