Official of Chernivtsi Customs Baydalko concealed assets through the purchase of real estate by his daughter, — investigation

Deputy Head of the Customs Post of the Chernivtsi Customs, Orest Baydalka, is suspected of concealing significant amounts of money through real estate transactions registered in his daughter’s name.

In 2023, 21-year-old Solomiya Baydalka purchased a non-residential premises in Lviv, measuring nearly 897 square meters, for 1.5 million hryvnias. At that time, this was equivalent to approximately 37,500 US dollars. The sources of the funds remain unclear: according to Orest Baydalka’s 2023 declaration, his daughter had no savings.

The price of the transaction raises even more questions. Solomiya bought a square meter of the premises for only 42 dollars, while the market value of non-residential real estate in Lviv at the time of purchase was at least 600 dollars per square meter.

It is known that Solomiya Baydalka works as a trainer at a dance school in Lviv.
