New sanctions by the NSDC: the list includes 15 individuals and 36 legal entities

Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated May 1, 2025, "On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)."

The relevant decrees No. 267/2025, No. 268/2025, No. 269/2025 are published on the president’s website.

The list includes the former freelance advisor to the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych, blogger Myroslav Oleshko, political scientist Kostyantyn Bondarenko. Also on the list is the former head of the banned party "Derzhava" Dmytro Vasylets, political expert from Viktor Medvedchuk’s TV channels Oleksandr Skubchenko, head of the pro-Kremlin association "Slobozhanska Sich" Pavlo Onishchenko.

The sanctions list also includes the son of former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov – Oleksiy Azarov. The General Director of "Rosatom" Alexey Likhachev is also under sanctions.

Russian journalists Anastasiya Kashevarova and Stanislav Bernvald are also subject to sanctions.

Additionally, the documents mention a number of Russian enterprises.
