In the Rada, the date for the ratification of the agreement with the USA on minerals was announced

The Verkhovna Rada plans to vote on the ratification of the agreement with the USA on minerals as early as next week.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak on the morning of May 2.

«Yesterday, obviously in a hurry, the Cabinet submitted the text of the ratification to the Rada. Formally, it was done at 11:59 PM on May 1, but in fact already at night on May 2. However, both in the bill’s card and throughout all the documentation, the date of May 1 is recorded. Moreover, the document was immediately signed by both the Rada’s apparatus and the speaker. And also dated May 1», – he wrote.

Zheleznyak explained that after the documents are provided to the members of parliament, a period of at least 7 days begins before the parliament has the right to vote on it.

«The vote on the ratification of the Mineral Agreement between the USA and Ukraine is planned for May 8», – Zheleznyak added later.
