Enemy losses for the day: The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1340 occupiers and 2 aircraft

Ukrainian Defence Forces during battles at the front in the past day destroyed and wounded about 1340 military personnel of the Russian army. Thus, the total number of the aggressor’s manpower losses in the war has increased to 956,810.

The day before, the defenders also destroyed 383 units of military equipment and weapons of the Russian occupiers. The updated data as of May 4 was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Due to the constant receipt of updated intelligence data, there was a need to adjust some positions of the enemy’s overall losses—tanks, armored combat vehicles, artillery systems, air defense tools, drones, cruise missiles, and special equipment. The total figure has been adjusted, and daily losses are reported as usual," the department stated.

According to the data, the day before, Ukrainian warriors shot down two Russian aircraft (a total of 372) and 163 operational-tactical drones (34,860).

The defenders disabled 52 artillery systems (a total of 27,327), 24 armored combat vehicles (22,403), 11 tanks (10,758), one air defence tool (1,155) and one MLRS (1,376), as well as 129 units of automotive equipment and tankers (47,141) of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation.

Additionally, during the course of the war, the Defence Forces destroyed 3,870 units of special equipment, 3,196 cruise missiles, 335 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and one submarine.
