The new threats from Russian UAVs were reported by a Ukrainian expert with the callsign "Flash" in his Telegram channel on May 24.

"In the past month, special groups of Russian pilots have been actively working across all fronts, sending FPVs to depths of 30-40 kilometers," stated "Flash".

According to the expert, control of such FPV drones is carried out through a repeater at a high altitude. The UAVs themselves are 10-15 inches in size and equipped with dual batteries, allowing the FPV drones to penetrate significant depths.

The main goal of these attacks, according to "Flash", is to strike Ukrainian logistics and rear objects.

He noted that this tactic of the Russian Armed Forces is yielding results.

"The reason for the success of this tactic is that no one expects drone attacks at such depth. Trench/vehicle electronic warfare is scarcely used at this distance. Tactical electronic warfare covers frontline positions, not the rear," the expert explained.
